Topping off ceremony at Stacja Kazmierz!

On 25 June of the current year, after less than eight months from the start of the construction work, the general contractor of Stacja Kazimierz – Budimex – celebrated the completion of another stage of construction work with a symbolic topping-off ceremony. During the first stage of construction work on the housing complex, implemented as part of the modern design of Waryński Group and Polnord, buildings with stepped storeys were built around the dedicated internal patio, comprising 179 housing units. All storeys of the facility have already been completed and finishing works are underway.
“The distinguishing features of the Stacja Kazimierz project that make it stand out against the housing estate map of the Warsaw district of Wola are its architectural solutions and unique industrial character. The former assembly halls of Waryński Plant are currently being replaced by modern residential buildings of complex architectural design. The transformation of these areas and the revitalisation of Stacja Kazimierz perfectly reflect changes to our company that have also recently occurred. The positive effects of the new strategy can be seen even today. The impressive work progress rate and the great interest in the Stacja Kazimierz offer of housing units shown by the Clients are just some of the examples of the project success. We are convinced that our work will bring desired results in the form of the residential complex providing its future residents with unique and friendly living environment”, said Jarosław Jankowski, President of the Management Board of Waryński S.A. Holding Group.
The first stage of Stacja Kaziemierz investment is to construct the complex of buildings of varying heights capable of accommodating 179 flats with an area of between 27 to 91 square metres and 5 commercial and retail premises. The proposed modernist buildings of Stacja Kazimierz are designed to comprise both functional studio flats, small-size 2-room flats, as well as 3-, 4- and 5-room spacious apartments. All upper-floor flats are fitted with balconies or loggias, while ground-floor flats have spacious gardens. The important thing is that the premises offered as part of the investment are designed on square and rectangular plans, giving the residents freedom to make their own arrangements. It is only one of many factors that contribute to our Clients’ great interest in buying flats at that project stage. Until now, more than 80 percent of the flats have already been bought.
“The project, implemented in cooperation with Waryński Group, has proved to be the most popular choice of residence for our Clients. What our Clients find attractive about the investment is not only its unique urban design and highest quality of finish, which is guaranteed under the standards that we have established as a developer with extensive experience in the housing market, but also a very convenient location of the entire complex in one the fastest growing districts of the capital. The main advantages of our housing estate are easy access to diversified infrastructure and numerous green areas. We are satisfied with the current rate of flat sales and we are optimistic about the future,” said Tomasz Sznajder, Vice-President of the Management Board of Polnord SA.
The first stage of Stacja Kazimierz investment is to be completed in the first quarter of 2016. The project aims to provide a total of 680 flats with a total gross floor area of 42 thousand square metres.
“Looking back over the last few months, it becomes clear that we have met all expectations of Waryński Group and Polnord in terms of successfully completing the task of implementing Stage I of Stacja Kazimierz. Due to our many years of experience and the extensive knowledge of our engineers, as well as our cooperation
with recognised subcontractors, all construction work has been progressing according to the schedule. We are convinced that future residents of the housing estate will appreciate the quality of finish and the reliability of technology used in its construction and that it will directly translate into improved living comfort and functionality of the complex,” said Radosław Górski, General Construction Director of Budimex SA.
