Pod Słońcem Housing Estate

The 1st stage of Pod Słońcem housing estate, located in Warsaw at ul. Batalionów Chłopskich 81, was rewarded in the this year’s edition of the Construction of the Year competition.
The building is C-shaped and its height varies – it has 4 or 5 floors. In total, it comprises 99 flats. The construction area covers 1.7 thousand square meters, while the usable area – 5.5 thousand square meters.
On the ground floor of the building there are commercial premises planned, and on the -1 floor – an underground garage. On the internal site a playground has been constructed.
A model of the solar system integrated in the yard’s surface is a reference to the name of the housing estate (“under the sun”).
Budimex accomplished this investment within 19 months.
