Contract for the extension of an access road to A1 concluded
Today the Provincial Roads Authority in Łódź concluded a contract with a contractor for the construction of provincial road No. 714, along the existing district road No. 1164E. This is the section linking the Łódź Górna junction on the A1 motorway and the third stage of Trasa Górna, planned to be implemented by the City of Łódź.
As part of the task 2.3 km of the road (following the current district road) will be extended from the junction on the A1 to the planned roundabout on the border of Łódź and the Brójce Commune (ulica Rafała Kalinowskiego). Budimex will be the contractor for the works, and the cost is over PLN 27 million.
The scope of works includes such measures as:
- extension of communal roads Nos: 106204E, 106205E, 106206E, 106207E and 106208E
- extension of intersections
- demolition and construction of exits
- construction of bicycle path and pavements
- construction of bus bays
- construction of temporary diversion roads
- construction of a temporary culvert;
- construction of an amphibian crossing
- demolition and construction of a bridge over the River Ner
- reinforcement of the Ner riverbed
- construction of a storm water drainage system with open or closed ditches and inlets to the River Ner and drainage
- construction of road lighting
The planned completion of the works is 30 June 2023, and the project will be co-financed by the Regional Operational Programme of the Łódzkie Province for 2014-2020.
The first works will commence at the end of January / beginning of February next year. You will be updated on any potential difficulties in advance.
