Construction Company of the Year 2016 title goes to Budimex and Mostostal Kraków

Yet again, Budimex has been named Construction Company of the Year by Builder monthly magazine. Mostostal Kraków was also awarded this time.

For 14 years now, the award has been presented by the Editorial Office as well as the Scientific and Programme Council of Builder monthly magazine to companies from the construction industry. Dynamic development and positions secured within the construction market are thus appreciated while company managers are distinguished for effective management and market successes.

The award chapter works under the leadership of Professor Leonard Runkiewicz, PhD, Eng., from the Institute of Building Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology, who acts as chairman of the Building Research Institute Scientific Council as well as of the Scientific and Programme Council of Builder monthly magazine.

Dariusz Blocher, the president of Budimex, was also awarded once again, being named Industry Personality of the Year. The awards were presented during the Builder Awards gala on 25 January 2017 in Warsaw. BUILDER has been a leading monthly magazine for construction, architecture and business for 19 years now. In this time it has always stood for characteristic and easily recognisable covers, presenting eminent personalities from the industry, and its clear formula involving simple division into three sections: BUSINESS, CONSTRUCTION (materials and technologies) and ARCHITECTURE&DESIGN (trends).
