Budimex will reconstruct 22 km of road no. 527 between Łukta and Olsztyn

On July 1, 2021, at the Marshal’s Office of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship in Olsztyn, Budimex signed a contract with the Voivodeship Roads Authority for the extension of voivodeship road no. 527 on the Łukta – Olsztyn section. The contract was signed as a construct only contract.

 

The construction will cover 22 kilometres along current road no. 527. An approx. 4 km part of the road between Łukta and Pelnik will be closed to traffic, which will be routed around this section by detours. Budimex will start works at the beginning August this year. The new road should be ready by mid-2023. The gross project value will be PLN 96 million.

 

The scope of the reconstruction:

 

  • extension of DW no. 527 on the Łukta – Olsztyn section from km 75+200 to 97+030 – road class G, KR4, road width 6.0/7.0 m;
  • reconstruction or extension of roads crossing the designed road, on the section directly adjacent to DW 527;
  • reconstruction or construction of sidewalks and bicycle paths, individual and public exits, parking spaces, pedestrian crossings, bus bays, road culverts;
  • execution of road drainage;
  • construction or reconstruction of the existing technical infrastructure interfacing with the designed road system – including the electric, sanitary, telecommunications and gas infrastructure;
  • reconstruction of two bridge structures;
  • felling of trees and shrubs in the way of the investment, development of green areas and finishing works.
