Budimex to Vaccinate Employees with Families

News date: April 19, 2021
Budimex to Vaccinate Employees with Families

Budimex joins the National Immunisation Programme where the country’s major employers have an opportunity to organise vaccination for their staff regardless of the schedule by year of birth by the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ). Budimex intends to vaccinate all of its employees along with their families against SARS-CoV-2. The company is planning to vaccinate a total of 25,000 people. The vaccinations will be voluntary. Right now employees are submitting their declarations.

The medical preparations will come from government reserves and Budimex will provide appropriate medical staff and vaccinations sites.

We are the largest construction group in Poland, with more than 7,000 employees. As an employer, we value the health and safety of people above all else. We have run over four thousand PCR tests – Cezary Mączka, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA, Director of the Human Resources Management Division.

Budimex is already getting ready for the whole operation, which could start this May, according to government declarations.

We have invested millions of zloty in the measures to protect and support hybrid work. The number of new cases in Budimex is now twice as low as during the 2nd wave of the pandemic in November 2020. We are getting ready to organise vaccinations as an employer. We want to vaccinate all employees along with their families as soon as possible, in all places and at all construction sites in Poland and abroad. The Programme covers a total of 25,000 people, Cezary Mączka says.

Budimex has also joined the awareness campaign on how dangerous COVID-19 is to human health. The new spot where the characters speak about the authentic consequences of the disease has been broadcast online since January 2021. The experiences presented on the video are based on actual accounts of those who had been through the disease. The purpose of the campaign is to draw the attention to the threat that the epidemic continues to be, despite the launch of the immunisation programme.

The spot is available on YouTube.
