Budimex to construct another section of S7

The Kielce branch of General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a contract with Budimex for the construction of an almost eight-kilometre section of S7 stretching from Skarżysko-Kamienna to the province border.

The 7.6 km section will connect the almost 50-kilometre existing stretch of S7 express road from Skarżysko through Kielce to Chęciny with the Radom – border of Mazowieckie and Świętokrzyskie provinces section of S7 route, opened this year The investment will render road No 7 in the Świętokrzyskie region full parameters of an express road over its entire length.
The contracted section of S7 express road from Skarżysko-Kamienna to the border of Mazowieckie and Świętokrzyskie provinces will run on the western side of the existing road No 7 Two junctions have been planned for the initial and final fragment of the investment, namely: Skarżysko Centrum and Skarżysko Północ junctions. Additionally, 4 flyovers, 2 bridges, 2 passages for agriculture roads, animal passages and access roads will be created as part of the investment.
On 23 September, the consortium of Budimex and Ferrovial Agroman commissioned a 20-kilometre section of S7 stretching from Jędzrzejów to the border of Świętokrzyskie and Małopolskie provinces.
