Budimelex returns to Warszawa Zachodnia as of 10 January

As of Monday, 10 January, Budimelex returns to the Warszawa Zachodnia station, providing transport for passengers between the bus terminus on Tunelowa Street/platforms of the Warszawa Zachodnia station and platform 9 (platform of the district line).

As in 2021, Budimelex will run on weekdays from 5.30am to 6.30pm. The all-electric vehicle will run on a shuttle basis. Budimelex takes 5 passengers at a time, being able to transport up to 100 people in one hour.  Budimelex will shorten the time of access to the Warszawa Zachodnia platforms from the district of Wola, from 15 minutes to 3–4 minutes.

A similar solution was also in operation in 2021. Budimelex did not run for several months due to platform 9 (the district line) being closed to traffic in the second half of the last year. The vehicle had to be suspended for several months due to ongoing construction work.
