Award for the Municipal Stadium in Lublin

In less than 20 months Budimex completed the construction of a modern sport facility that can accommodate 15,500 spectators. The stadium in Lublin, located in Krochmalna Street, was given UEFA’s third category making it eligible for hosting all sport events excluding only world cup games.
It is a covered stadium with roofed stands. Its modern interior allows for organising all kind of sport competitions and cultural events there.
Lublin Stadium is one of many sport investments performed by Budimex. Other facilities include Ergo Arena – entertainment and sport hall on the border of the two cities, Gdańsk and Sopot, where world championship events are held, and the stadium of Arka Gdynia. In 2013, Budimex received the title and statue of the Builder of Polish Sport for its engagement in constructing sport facilities. The Municipal Stadium in Lublin was awarded in 2014 Construction of the Year contest.
