Appointment of new members of the Management Board in Mostostal Kraków S.A.
With regard to the development strategy for the next years adopted by the Company, the planned business expansion and changes in the organisational structure, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of Mostostal Kraków appointed three new Members of the Management Board: Kacper Jaskot, Paweł Śmigla and Tomasz Guzik. Until now, the Management Board of the Company which belongs to Budimex Group was represented by the President of the Management Board – Jacek Lech (CEO) and a member of the Management Board – Jakub Tomaszewski (CFO). This change came into force on 20 January 2022.
Kacper Jaskot graduated in Civil Engineering from Cracow University of Technology. He has also completed prestigious international development programmes: Global Management Program (ESADE Business School). He joined Mostostal Kraków in 2006, when he started to work as a Site Engineer. His career in Budimex Group shows that Kacper went through the whole career path when he was promoted to Site Manager, Director of the Contract Team and Director of the Project Division in 2018. As a member of the Management Board, he will continue to manage the Project Division with regard to the delivery and installation of steel structures, and to manage the production area of the Steel Structures Factory.
Paweł Śmigla graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. His career in Budimex Group started in 2010. He worked as a Legal Advisor and then became the Manager of the Legal Office in Mostostal Kraków. Since 2018, he has been responsible for the commercial, valuation, design and technical area as Director of the Commercial Division. Since 2019, he has been the holder of a commercial power of attorney. As a member of the Management Board, he will still be responsible for the Commercial Division, which includes the Legal Department.
Tomasz Guzik graduated in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Cracow University of Technology. He has worked in Budimex Group since November 2004. He started his career at Budimex Dromex as Assistant Site Manager, then as Site Engineer and finally as Works Manager. For less than a year, he worked for Ferrovial Agroman S.A. as Production Manager. In the years 2008–2020, he gained experience in Budimex by working in the following positions: Valuation Specialist, Deputy Contract Manager and Contract Manager. Since January 2021, he has served as Director of the Contract Team at Mostostal Kraków. As a member of the Management Board, he will be responsible for the Industrial Project Division.
The decision to expand the Management Board is a natural continuation of the planned increase in the market share of Mostostal Kraków and the expansion of strategic directions of development. The mission of the Company is to support Customers during demanding construction projects by delivering tailored solutions. The strategy for the years 2022–2024 is related to our previous activity, but at the same time involves business diversification. The Company is planning to increase the scale of its operations on the national market and on foreign markets, and to increase its manufacturing capacity. The current portfolio of services, which include the construction, installation, prefabrication and delivery of steel structures for the most important sectors of industrial, energy, cement, lime, metallurgical, chemical, bridge and gas transmission construction, is planned to be expanded by providing services to industrial customers and becoming involved in energy transformation processes.
