A month before the deadline Budimex completed the upgrade, reconstruction, and expansion of the pavilion No 5 of the Regional Specialist Hospital in Włocławek.
The agreement has been concluded in the location of the future incineration plant. At the ceremony Lithuania was represented by Algirdas Butkevičius, the Prime Minister of Lithuania and Remigijus Szimasziu, the Mayor of Vilnus. Poland was represented by Maria Ślebioda, head of the political and economic department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vilnus and Dawid Tomaszewski, the second secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vilnus. Budimex was represented by the President of the Management Board – Dariusz Blocher and Piotr Świecki – Power and Industrial Construction Manager.

The Management Board of Budimex SA announces that on 26 July 2016 it was informed by the Olsztyn City Hall about the selection of the bid of Budimex SA (Consortium leader 95%) and Ferrovial Agroman SA (Consortium partner 5%) in the limited tender procedure concerning the public contract for the construction of Towarowa Street in Olsztyn, from the junction of Towarowa and Leonharda Streets to the planned Olsztyn ring.

On 6 June 2016, Budimex signed a contract with the Medical University of Gdańsk for the construction of the Non-Invasive Medicine Centre in Gdańsk. The net value of the contract is PLN 285.7 million.
On 24 May 2016, the Polish Union of Construction Engineers and Technicians (Polski Związek Inżynierów i Techników Budownictwa, PZITB) awarded the title of Construction of the Year for the 26th time. PZITB rewards investments featuring technological innovations, high quality of workmanship, and good organisation of the construction process, as well as a high level of occupational safety and environmental protection.
On 10 May this year, Budimex SA signed an agreement with OKS STOMIL OLSZTYN club whereunder the company will be the Main Sponsor of the football team, currently playing 1st league games in the 2015/ 2016 season, until 30 June 2018.
On 5 May 2016, Budimex signed a contract with the Poznań Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the section of the S5 Poznań–Wrocław expressway between Radomicko and Kaczkowo, where phase II covers the route from Leszno South (junction included) to Kaczkowo. The net value of the contract is PLN 189.1 million.

On 13.04.2016, Budimex signed a contract for the design and construction of the Wronczyn – Kościan Południe section of the S5 Poznań – Wrocław road with the Poznań Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. The net value of the contract amounts to PLN 291.9 million.
On 29 March, Budimex signed a contract with the Olsztyn Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the construction of the Olsztyn ring road. The net value of the contract amounts to PLN 742.3 million.
