The Kielce branch of General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a contract with Budimex for the construction of an almost eight-kilometre section of S7 stretching from Skarżysko-Kamienna to the province border.

Budimex has opened yet another, 21st Parent Zone.

The consortium of Torpol (consortium leader) and Budimex (companies share: 50% each) signed the contract for modernization of the Trzebinia - Krzeszowice section with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. It is the last section of the Katowice - Kraków route, where works are to commence.

On 23 September, drivers received a new section of S7 from Jędrzejów to the border of świętokrzyskie and małopolskie provinces. It is 20 km long.

On 1 August, Budimex concluded the contract for the construction of aircraft engine service center in Środa Śląska with XEOS Spółka z o.o.

The 25th edition of the POWER-GEN EUROPE exhibition is held between 27 and 29 June in Cologne. For many year the representatives of Mostostal Kraków have visited this exhibition and this year the Management Board of the Company decided to place their own stand.

On 27 June 2017, the Polish Union of Construction Engineers and Technicians [Polski Związek Inżynierów i Techników Budownictwa, PZITB] awarded the title Construction of the Year for the 27th time. In this year's edition of the competition, five investments completed by the Budimex Group won the title of “Construction of the Year 2016”, of which four received first degree awards and one second degree award.

On the next Thursday, Budimex will construct a prototype road pavement section in connection with implementation of the project entitled: “Asphalt millings. Innovative technology of mineral and asphalt mix using materials from recycled asphalt pavement” (InnGA).

Budimex was awarded the Best Quality Employer 2017 Emblem.

On the 26 June this year, Dariusz Blocher concluded a contract with LC Corp Invest XVII sp. z o.o. Projekt 22 sp. k. for execution of the “WOLA RETRO” project, which will house the new headquarters of Budimex SA. The construction site is located at the crossroads of Skierniewicka and Siedmiogrodzka streets in the Warsaw’s district of Wola.

On the 23 June 2017 the cornerstone was laid for construction of the new air traffic control tower in Pyrzowice, which will be the highest facility of this type in Poland.

By distinguishing Budimex as the “Responsible Employer of 2017”, the editorial office of “Rzeczpospolita” honoured Budimex SA’s HR policy, which is based on investment in employees and allows for development of competences and promotion.

Budimex claimed high positions in this year’s ranking by “Rzeczpospolita” daily.

Budimex and Nuctech Warsaw Company Limited Sp. z o.o. entered into an agreement on implementation of the 2nd stage of construction of the production and storage facility in Kobyłka. The contract was signed on behalf of the General Contractor by Radosław Górski, General Construction Director of Budimex SA.

On 14 June 2017 in Chełm, Dariusz Blocher, the President of the Board at Budimex SA, signed with the Municipal Roads Administration a contract for rebuilding the state road no. 12. The contract is to be executed in the "plan and build" model. The investment will contribute to the improvement of the road infrastructure, which has a direct impact on improving road safety.

Today, the president of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk, will pass the modernized and expanded by Budimex Plac Litewski over to residents. The main attraction of the square will be the multimedia fountain park, entered in the Register of Historic Monuments at the beginning of the 1970 s.
