A September merger of Unibud and Budimex Warszawa leads to the establishment of Budimex Unibud – a general contracting centre in central and north-eastern Poland.

On 30 November, a merger between Budimex Poznań and Budimex takes place. The Poznań based company acts as a centre for general contracting in western and northern Poland.

The same year, Budimex becomes a strategic investor in Mostostal Kraków, a company specialising in the provision of services from the area of construction and assembly of steel structures for the cement and limestone industries, the energy sector, and steel and chemical industries.
