Economic and political transformation in Poland marks a time of ownership changes in Budimex. In 1994, two years after the company undergoes privatisation, Budimex is transformed into a joint stock company and primes itself to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The company closes the third decade of its activity with further achievements. During this time, Budimex manages eighteen companies abroad. These are, among others: Budimex Praha, Budimex Panon and Epito in Budapest, Albor in Sofia, Merkury in Moscow, SlovBud in Bratislawa and an office in Kiel.
