The "Domofon ICE" Gala in Bełchatów

Pupils from grades 1–3 and teachers from the Primary School No 1, the Primary School No 3 and the Primary School No 4 as well as Mr. Łukasz Politański, the Vice President of Bełchatów, took part in the official gala. The children have been equipped with innovative ICE (In Case od Emergency) cards designed in accordance with international standards known to rescuers worldwide. In case of an emergency, the ICE card attached to the rucksack will provide the rescuers with information on who should be contacted and informed about the incident. The reflective case holding the card has a preventive function making the child more visible on the road.
 

The “Domofon ICE. Budimex Dzieciom” program has a broader educational dimension as it promotes the principles of road safety and first aid among young people. In order to pass the knowledge in a friendly manner, during the gala there were lectures by policemen from the District Police Station and medical rescue presentations conducted by firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service. The artistic part of the gala included a theater performance, which in a humorous manner presented to the children and systematized rules regarding their safety. The children watched the instructional video, and all the institutions have been additionally equipped with reflective vests.
