On Friday, 1 February 2019, Budimex transferred to the investor, the General Directorate of Roads and Motorways, a ten-kilometre section of the Olsztyn motorway ring road, part of the S51 route between the Jaroty and the Olsztyn East interchanges. The works were completed before the scheduled contractual deadline of 29/04/2019. Work continues on the remaining five-kilometre section from the Jaroty interchange to the west, which will be put into operation by July 2019. After completion of work on this section, the entire 24-km Olsztyn motorway ring road will be passable.

As part of the investment, three road nodes were constructed - Jaroty, Pieczewo and Olsztyn East. The motorway ring road investor is the Olsztyn Branch of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways. The project is co-financed from the Cohesion Fund. The total value of the contract is over PLN 1 billion gross. The works related to the construction of the Olsztyn motorway ring road began in July 2016.
