Budimex distinguished as the Responsible Employer of 2017

By distinguishing Budimex as the “Responsible Employer of 2017”, the editorial office of “Rzeczpospolita” honoured Budimex SA’s HR policy, which is based on investment in employees and allows for development of competences and promotion.

 

Budimex Group employs over 6 thousand people and is planning to hire several hundred more experts this year. The company creates comprehensive programmes tailored to specific groups of employees so that managers, experts and other professionals can follow their further professional development path.

 

Since 1995, the company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and since 2011, it has formed a part of the RESPECT index, which includes the most responsible listed companies and is one of the signatories of the Safety in Construction Agreement. This additionally mobilises the company to care for all aspects of its activity.

In already sixth edition of the Programme, the Chapter under the leadership of Marcin Piasecki, the Managing Editor of “Rzeczpospolita”, followed four criteria among companies which employed more than 500 workers: increase in employment in 2016/2015 and 2015/2014, taxes per employee in 2016, income per employee in 2016 and employment in 2016.

 

Budimex became one of 12 laureates.

 

Responsible Employer — HR Leader of 2017 is a nationwide human resources (HR) Programme. Its objective is to popularise and propagate correct patterns, models and strategies within the scope of HR policy and strategy of integration of HR issues with business issues. The Programme is addressed to companies which conduct their activity in the territory of Poland, whose business strategy includes care for working conditions and development of employees. The main criterion for selection of Programme laureates is broadly understood employment quality.
